Components of Physical and Non-Physical Aspects of the Environment

1.2. Components of Physical and Non-Physical Aspects of the Environment:

The components of physical and nonphysical aspects of the environment can be obtained by the physical and nonphysical elements that composed the environment on this planet. It is like thought, action and the material and its integration and repercussions. The part of the human environment that includes purely physical factors as soil, climate, water supply. The physical environment can be defined as that which operates on an ongoing basis regardless of persons in it. The physical environment then affects the actions of and outcomes concerning the people within it. The physical environment includes land, air, water, plants and animals. Buildings and other infrastructure and all of the natural resources that provide our basic needs and opportunities for social and economic development.

Say for example you are playing a sport and it is a windy and sunny day. You have to adjust your game to ensure that you allow for the way the wind is blowing and remain away from the direct sunlight. All processes and behaviors take place within specific physical environments. For example in a class room the physical environment is not only the door, windows, four walls and roof. Lighting, acoustics, size, comfort, safety and access to technology are significant components of physical environment.

Therefore a simple definition of any physical environment would be our natural surroundings including whether it is clean or dirty and the things within it and how they interact to create a space. A physical environment is considered an area that is tangible and supports, influences, and develops life. On Earth, many different types of physical environments, natural and synthetic, have existed throughout its history. Furthermore, as scientific knowledge of the universe increases, scientists begin to search for true physical environments on other worlds.

Not relating to or concerning the body is known as nonphysical. A cycle of creation and destruction that determines all reality is termed as nonphysical aspects of environment which are understandable through our intuition. Environment may refer either to actual physical surroundings or to social or cultural background factors: an environment of crime and grinding poverty. Nonphysical is also described as lacking substance or reality; incapable of being touched or seen; "that intangible thing--the soul" intangible. Non-material, immaterial - not consisting of matter; "immaterial apparitions"; "immaterial entities".

Non-physical aspects of the environment are those which are experienced through intuition, feelings or behavioral pattern of an individual. For instance, clean, dirty, happy, sad, good, bad, nice, sweet, satisfying, unsatisfying environment. Social environment, group environment, community environment, city environment, economic environment, business environment, trade environment, are the components of nonphysical environment.
